Hi
there and welcome to my website!
Well,
2008 ended with a couple of very special highlights.
Firstly, I had the opportunity to work with the
great Paul Kelly, along with Vika and Linda Bull
and the Australian Art Orchestra, led by the wonderful
Paul Grabowsky. Meet Me In The Middle Of The Air
was performed at the Sydney Opera House to a sell
out crowd and what an incredible experience it
was! Everyone involved was hoping for a repeat
performance at some stage so stay tuned as this
is one project you will definitely want to see!
Then in December, again at the Opera House we
paid tribute to the late, very great Jackie Orszaczky.
Jackie re-shaped the landscape of Australian music
more than any musician I have ever had the pleasure
of meeting or working with and even though his
presence is sorely missed, it was a great privilege
to perform his music in his honour.
Now
that the festive season is over I am looking forward
to getting into 2009 with renewed energy! To get
started, this month I will be doing a gig at the
Seymour Centre for the Sydney Improvised Music
Association. Joining me on the night will be some
of this country's finest musicians so I hope you
can make it! Be sure to stay tuned for more gigs
as they get booked in.
